physical standards (Physical Standards)
The physical standards prescribed for the post of constable are –
A. Height:
For Male: 170 cms.
For Females: 157 cms.
B. Chest:
For men only – Unexpanded: 80 cms.
- Expanded: Minimum expansion 5 cms.
C.Weight:
For men and women: Proportion of height and age as per medical standards.
D. Race (Running):
For Male: 5 Kms. in 24 minutes.
For Women: 1.6 kms. 30 seconds in 8 minutes.
How to apply
On-line Submission of Application Form Website (https://www.ssc.nic.in/) Can be logged in using user name and password. On-line application facility will be available. Such candidates should retain the Registration Number assigned to them for all correspondence with the Commission. They are not required to submit the print out of their application to the Commission.
